Clint Eastwood is the latest legend who is M.I.A. and hasn’t been seen in 455 days

Younger generations of cinephiles may be unaware of Clint Eastwood’s effect as both an actor and a director. We’re talking about one of cinema’s most influential non-fiction filmmakers. As an actor, he was undoubtedly the most vocal supporter of Westerns. His film ‘Unforgiven’ is often regarded as the greatest Western ever made. As a contemporary director, he has developed fantastic pictures such as “Mistic River” and “Million Dollar Baby.” His films are generally well-received by critics. But, like Jack Nicholson, Clint is getting on in years and will most likely be unable to continue working.

The man is 93 years old, he is really up there and concerns about his overall health have escalated in recent weeks. Radar Online reports that a friend who is close to him is deeply worried about Clint because he hasn’t been seen by friends in 455 days, and counting. After his most recent movie (Cry Macho) bombed at the box office, Eastwood decided he would take one last crack at directing before father time catches up to him. He is getting ready to shoot his final film called, ‘Juror No. 2’ with Toni Collette and Nicholas Hoult. But people are truly worried about him for not showing his face to the world in nearly two years.

Clint Eastwood’s last project?

“Clint goes through spells of talking about retirement, but what’s worse for him is that he feels the movie industry has retired on him,” an insider told Radar Online. He’s had a 50-year relationship with Warner Brothers, but there are new people in charge now, and they were dissatisfied when Clint’s previous film, Cry Macho, tanked at the box office. He was relieved to finally receive approval from Warner for his new film, but he doesn’t expect it to happen again. He wants to do this film as a swan song and go out in a blaze of glory.”

The source continued: “Some thought Cry Macho was going to be his last film two years ago because he seemed frail even then, but the movie wasn’t well received so Clint’s gathering up the troops one last time – and hoping for a blockbuster. People are concerned about his health. He’s the director, but he’s also involved in every other area, including casting, and he’ll almost certainly create the score, as he has with his previous projects. Clint has always been in good health and has remained lively and active despite his advanced age, but the fact that he hasn’t been seen as much recently has many people in Hollywood concerned. It’s difficult to envision him in anything than top form, but Father Time catches up with us all.”
