The Mission: Impossible actor has the ideal location to retreat to when he wants to get away from the bustle of Hollywood. Tom Cruise, a Hollywood classic and one of the biggest movie stars in the world, occasionally enjoys some quiet time just like the rest of us.

It is reported that Tom Cruise has a close relationship with the inhabitants of Biggin Hill because he owns a property in the area, in the London Borough of Bromley, as reported by MyLondon. The town is famous for being one of the highest points in Greater London, rising to over 210 metres. But we know Tom Cruise isn’t afraid of heights, having scaled skyscrapers and climbed cliffs in jaw-dropping stunts for his films.

Biggin Hill is home to 10,817 residents, according to the 2021 Census, and is a town in South East London.

The 61-year-old actor spent a lot of time in Bromley over the years when he worked on two back-to-back Mission: Impossible films.

The town is home to a military memorial museum that displays video footage of the airfield and surrounding areas during the Second World War. Visitors on the review website, TripAdvisor, have described it as “interesting” and containing a “good quality” of exhibits.

Charles Darwin lived at Down House in Bromley, and as such, the neighborhood has a special place in the history of science and evolution. Visitors to the former home of Charles Darwin have praised it for having “excellent displays showcasing Darwin’s life, travels, and contributions to science” and for being “fascinating”.

When Mr. Cruise takes off on any travels, Biggin Hill Airport, which is located nearby, will be helpful because it rents out private planes to customers. Cruise enjoys living in England, a person close to him reportedly told MyLondon.

They said: “He’s American, but he has spent so much time here and has English heritage.”

“Tom has only recently moved to this new home, which feels like it’s practically in the countryside. He sees it as his rural bolt-hole, away from the hustle and bustle of London where he had been before.”

Cruise has a love affair with England and even bought a six-bedroom property in East Grinstead, West Sussex, selling it in 2016 to the Australian singer, Peter Andre, as reported in the Daily Mail.
