Interpreted by Edoardo Pesce and Alessandro Roja, Caress and Smile they are friends who have grown up as brothers. For some years, they have been estranged due to a quarrel, but some events force them to put aside ancient grudges and deeply different characters. When they are just children, the “Dune Buggy”, a mythical car, is stolen from the two friends. Once they become adults, the two learn that the car has been up for grabs in a car competition and to get it back, they are ready to retrace their steps and reconnect.

Torsillo, a selfish and dishonest building speculator played by Christian De Sica, promotes the competition. Torsillo wishes to seize the circus of Miriam, a mystery tiger trainer and knife-thrower whom Carezza is already acquainted with and whom Sorriso will meet on their adventures.
